| WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE
My name is Keisha, and I am a recovering anorexic and bulimic. I created this website to raise money to self-publish my young-adult fiction novel A Body to Die For. It is the journal of a young woman with the eating disorders anorexia nervosa and bulimia. A Body to Die For is based on research and my own experience with the eating disorders anorexia nervosa and bulimia. My purpose for writing this book was to help young women who are battling the eating disorders, like I was-- am. But writing the book also became a source of therapy for me. It allowed me to face and release a lot of emotional issues that manifested themselves into eating disorders. It became my "scream," that scream from anger and hurt and loneliness, and a lot of other emotions, that I wanted so desperately to let out before and during the disorders but, because of my obsessive need to be perfect and please everyone, I couldn't. Now my book will become the "scream" for all anorexics and bulimics, both dead and alive, who can not scream for themselves. Through my book I hope to
help many
young women who are battling with anorexia nervosa and bulimia. Please help me
